This illustration was resting on my HD for a year or so and originally it was conceived as the cover artwork for a band but ultimately it seems that it will be replaced by another one. From here the decision to tweak something here and there and then put it up here. The main differences with the original version are the rectangular framing of the picture instead of the square one and the adding of some new elements like the flag and the foreground cables/mechanical stuff. :: 22 September 2006 :: • Added Marplots' album art. :: 28 June 2006 :: • The list of commissioned works still grows! Apart the front cover illustration and their logo I'm not so satisfied of how things turned out with this one because unfortunately I had very few time to make this booklet - maybe you could leave a comment about it on the guestbook, wouldn't you? ;) As always, more works will come... just waiting for the albums to be published. :: 24 March 2006 :: • Hi, sorry for the lack of updates. Busy times! As you may have seen entering the site, I'm going to have an exhibition starting this saturday. Regarding this site, reworking of the old works still continues and I've got new works too ready to come out but since these are CD covers I must wait an undefined amount of time until the albums will be issued. It was a cover artwork for the Soulless/Exsecrator split album that was rejected. Now I just changed some things in it but the 90% of the work is still the original creation. But since I firmly believe that this site shouldn't be abandoned I decided to take some old works and rework them for your own viewing pleasure. And I must recognize that the ones which were gone through reworking now look better than the originals in some way. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do, for example: the original version of "Rusty Venus" was totally crap if compared to the new version - this is my personal opinion, maybe you'll think that this new version is crappy anyway :) Last but not least, I'm going to make some new works in front of the collective exhibition I'll have in December, so in the next months I'm willing to produce a lot of pieces. :: 7 January 2005 :: • "Selfportrait" was replaced today with a slightly different new work called "Self 2.0". :: 5 January 2005 :: • 1 new work added to the gallery (n°17). :: 29 December 2004 :: • 1 new work added (n°16). Few explanations about it on my journal. :: 24 December 2004 :: • This site is gone through some minor but useful changes, now there's a box (this one) for news and info regarding Viron v2.0/IMG. I've also expanded the bio section with more info on me. Some important things happened since this site was online for the first time, so below are listed all the old news which didn't found a place to be written elsewhere. Here they come... • Viron v2.0 is now added to the MOCANET Network as a "distinguished art site". This means that I didn't win something but it's good the same because MOCA stands for Museum Of Computer Art. Nice shot! • Plus, I've been nominated as the official "artwork guy" for the upcoming album and for the future website of Neonsynthesis. Take a look at their site and download the songs, these guys really deserve some of your time. • I've been contacted from Eyes of the Dead Productions to realize artwork for a split album. The bands featured there will be Sinpularctos (UK), Black Autumn (Germany) and maybe a third band called Hypothermia. Take a look at Eyes of the Dead website because the guys behind it are great people, spending so much efforts delivering to the masses the heaviest and most violent music available from underground bands.
